"New Directions... Seeking Results in 2009"
 
2008 was a stellar year for our church. We were able to provide outreach to the community through providing food for the needy from our pantry, our evangelistic ministry was active in the community, and we participated in a number of community functions including the annual Christmas parade. DID YOU PARTICIPATE IN ANY OF THESE ACTIVITIES? If you did not, it is time for a new direction in 2009. It is an appropriate time for many of us, including myself, to press forward in fulfulling our purpose here on earth. The time for being hesitant, making excuses, and being nonparticipants is over. Get active at church, in your family, and in your community. Seek results this year!

SUNDAY BREAKFAST IS SERVED!
 
Breakfast is offered each Sunday courtesy of Howard Franklin, Jesse Mays, and Fredrick Dunbar. This meal provides members with the nourishment needed to give their maximum attention in Sunday School and Service. The meal is offered at no cost to you. Please take advantage of breakfast each and every Sunday morning!

The scene captured on the picture above is of ministers and our choir praising God in spirit and truth. The catalyst behind our enthausiasm is our love for God and the acceptance of Pastor Thomas' teaching us "when praises go up blessings come down." This new year has so much to offer us if we focus on getting closer to God, serving God, and learn/rely on his Word. The opportunity offers a great reward, but the work has to be put in first. PLANT A SEED AND SEE IT GROW! Our pastor has admonished the congregation to contribute financially through planting a financial seed. This contribution is essential to the financial stability of the church and the expansion of church ministries. YOUR SEED ENSURES GROWTH!
